Mother Son Time

Hi folks, Jon Wennstrom here! As a father of two daughters, the daddy daughter dance is always a big event for me. However, it's just as important to have Mother Son time as well. I'm very pleased to announce that Rosedale will be hosting our Mother Son event next week at Zap Zone in Canton. I'm sure it will be a great time for our boys and will provide some bonding time for our Rosedale families. Childhood goes quickly, so please take the chance to make some happy memories and we hope all our boys enjoy their special night on Wednesday, April 27!

MEET THE ROSEDALE STAFF
Roxanne Foreman-Hoover - School Age Child Care (SACC program)
I've worked for LPS for 17 years, five of which have been at Rosedale in the SACC program. In addition to my childcare learnings I have a management degree and cosmetology license. I have lived in Livonia for 21 years and have been married to my best friend, Rob, for 22 years.

My husband and I love reading to expand our knowledge and understanding. We also love to travel. In the warm months we ride our Harley across the US and commuting to our second home in Northern Michigan. Our personal goal is to live life to its fullest and be happy!

My professional goal is for the students to be happy. Five words to describe our SACC room: fun, safe, supportive, welcoming and accepting

Did you know that all of our 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grade students participated in the Youth Making a Difference program this year? Our 2nd grade students coordinated a schoolwide canned food drive, our 3rd grade students organized a collection for Veterans gift bags and facilitated the Blessings in a Backpack program, and our 4th grade worked with the PTA to organize a popcorn sale to raise money for cancer research. All participating students are invited to the YMAD ceremony on Tuesday, April 26 at Churchill High School. Great things are happening at Rosedale!
