Hi folks, Jon Wennstrom here! This week, we had our annual VIP dance at Buchanan. It's a great opportunity to have our students bring their favorite people into the school for a fun event. I love seeing the students sharing fun moments at Buchanan with family and friends. These are the events that students remember long after they have left school. Thank you to our PTA and all the staff and volunteers who helped make this special event possible. You are all VIPs in my book!

Because of the hard work led by Mrs. Medellin, the teachers, students and families, Buchanan Elementary School has received the 2019 Michigan Evergreen School designation, by completing at least 20 energy saving and environmental tasks. Way to go green Buchanan!

BUCKET DRUMMING

The music room is looking for 5 gallon buckets to be donated to the music room for bucket drumming activities with the students. Thank you for your consideration!
